Plasser American Corp. is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to assist in planning, layout, fabrication and installation of hydraulic and pneumatic piping in Chesapeake, VA. The role focuses on measuring, cutting, fabricating and installing piping per job specs.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, following diagrams, and ensuring proper hose connections while supporting team-based workflow. A high school diploma and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, two-year college degree or technical school certificate; or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training.
• Basic pipe fitting knowledge.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints/diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, fabricate and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipe.
• Install piping and hardware using hand and power tools.
• Review blueprints to understand requirements.
• Assist in layout and installation of hardware based on job specifications.
• Follow diagrams or blueprints, ensuring hose connections are proper.
• Repair malfunctions.
