Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Fabrication Supervisor in Brookshire, TX. The role shifts Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:30pm with overtime as required.

You will supervise a crew, set up fab shop machines, measure and cut pipe, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in all pipe fabrication tasks. This role requires extensive experience in fabrication and pipe fitting, plus strong math and communication skills to coach others and collaborate with management.

Qualifications

• 7 years+ fabrication/pipe-related experience preferred.
• Strong math skills to calculate quantities.
• Training in cutting and threading pipe is preferred.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of safe work practices in pipe yard.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates to meet safety, production, and quality goals.
• Set up and maintain Fab Shop machines for pipe fabrication.
• Measure, cut, and thread pipe with appropriate tools.
• Maintain inventory integrity and orderly work areas.
• Observe safety precautions for fabrication, cutting, stacking and shipping.
• Cross-train on alternate tasks and assist management as needed.
