Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in Brookshire, TX is seeking a Welder to join our team. This role involves welding outlets onto steel pipe for the fire sprinkler industry and requires 1–3 years of welding experience.

You will perform specialty welding tasks, inspect work for defects, maintain a clean and safe welding station, and report any equipment issues. The position runs Monday–Friday, 6am–2:30pm with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years welding experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload.

Responsibilities

• Weld outlets onto steel pipe to serve the fire sprinkler industry.
• Perform specialty welding tasks, spool pieces, flanges, etc.
• Inspects work for defects, dimensions, alignment, end preparations, and seam splits in pipe.
• Maintain a clean and safe welding station while conforming to standards of quality and performance.
• Reports on all equipment malfunctions, safety issues, and required repairs.
