Ferguson seeks a Fabrication Associate to join our team in Mansfield, TX. The role involves setting up and maintaining machines for pipe fabrication, measuring, cutting, threading, and moving pipe within the yard.

Schedule includes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts with pay differentials; starting pay ranges from $17.41 to $26.11 hourly. Ferguson offers comprehensive benefits and is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of fabrication experience preferred.
• Outstanding math skills and the ability to calculate quantities.
• Experience and training in operating machinery for cutting and threading pipe per OSHA regulations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced customer service environment and work inclusively.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain machines in the shop for pipe fabrication.
• Accurately measure, record, and add random pipe length.
• Measure and cut pipe with band saw and/or torch, rolling and grooving lengths; threading and beveling with landis machines.
• Move pipe from yard locations and assemble pipe orders, keeping supplies organized.
• Observe safety precautions for fabrication, cutting, and shipping of pipe.
• Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines and Ferguson procedures.
