Job summary

S&B USA Construction in Virginia Beach seeks an experienced Construction Foreman Pipe/Earthwork/Roadway to oversee daily site operations, lead a crew of craft workers, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time project delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of supervisory construction experience, familiarity with storm/sewer/pipe work, shoring, dewatering, and roadway rehabilitation, and the ability to read blueprints and coordinate with project managers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Schedule work assignments and manage workflow with the Superintendent.
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to project Superintendents.
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Act as OSHA defined competent person on the job.
• Maintain records of work, materials, and labor hours.
