Job summary

Fay, S&B USA Construction in the United States seeks an experienced Construction Foreman Pipe/Earthwork/Roadway to oversee daily operations on sites. You will lead craft teams, enforce safety, and ensure projects meet schedule and budget targets, with expertise in storm/sewer piping and related earthwork.

The role requires supervising crews, coordinating plans, and ensuring quality while navigating field challenges.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in construction management or related fields preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry; experience in a supervisory role preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to perform basic math (rates, ratios, percentages).
Knowledge of GPS survey equipment, pipe grade level and auto level is a plus.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance and quality standards.
Work with the Superintendent to schedule work assignments and manage workflow to optimize productivity.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project Superintendents.
Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct daily safety meetings with craft employees; explain tasks and methods.
Act as OSHA defined competent person on the job.
Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Provide guidance on proper techniques and safety practices.
Resolve/report conflicts and address issues on the job site.
Maintain accurate records of work, materials, and labor hours.
Submit daily timecards and diaries/photos of progress.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to achieve goals.
Inspect subcontractor work for conformance.
