Job summary

Moderna in Norwood, MA seeks a highly motivated full-time individual to support Lipid Nanoparticle and Drug Product pilot-scale production. You will execute established unit operations, prepare materials, and maintain documentation while collaborating across teams.

Strong communication and hands-on biotech experience are essential. Role involves troubleshooting, process understanding, and potential leadership of manufacturing executions with supervision.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry, Systems, Biomedical or Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated success in bioprocess development, technical problem solving, and technology transfer are essential.
• Hands‑on experience with tangential flow filtration is preferred.
• Ability to multi‑task in relentless pursuit of successful outcomes.
• Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute established Lipid Nanoparticle and/or Drug Product unit operations according to approved procedures and laboratory expectations; lead established processes once trained and qualified.
• Prepare materials, buffers, equipment, and work areas to support successful manufacturing execution.
• Practice Good Laboratory Practices and Good Documentation Practices, and ensure accurate material tracking.
• Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory and pilot-scale equipment; keep work areas safe and organized.
• Identify and communicate process, equipment, material, documentation, or safety issues with clear context; support troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
