Job summary

Horizontal Talent is seeking a Business Operations Contractor to help bring early ideas to life through fast-moving pilots and field tests. You will coordinate logistics, source partners, select locations, and capture insights to inform scaling decisions.

You will support on-site execution, track timelines and ownership across several projects, document conversations and outcomes, and help recruit participants for market tests while liaising with partners and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in business operations or project coordination.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Able to work in fast-paced, evolving environments.
• Excellent written communication to summarize findings.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Willingness to work in-person for field tests.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pilot logistics including scheduling, partner sourcing, locations, and tests.
• Support on-site fieldwork to execute experiments and gather feedback.
• Track timelines, open items, and ownership across projects.
• Document customer conversations, observations, and pilot outcomes.
• Help recruit participants and conduct outreach to understand needs.
• Assist vetting external partners and on-site training for field programs.
