Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Business Operations Contractor to lead early pilot tests in markets, coordinating partners and logistics, and performing hands-on field work. You will be in the room when tests launch and learn in real time to inform scale decisions.

You will move quickly, often in environments without established processes, and you will document insights clearly for the team to act on. This is a SF-preferred, on-site role for US-based candidates.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in operations, growth, launch, consulting, or startup environments.
• Contract role where hustle and judgment matter more than tenure.
• Experience working in unstructured, fast-moving settings and willingness to go on-site in the field.

Responsibilities

• Get pilots into market by handling logistics: sourcing partners, scheduling, locations, and details.
• Do the fieldwork by showing up at test sites and making the test real.
• Keep multiple tests running by tracking tasks, dates, and open items and flag blockers early.
• Capture learnings by writing up customer conversations and pilot results for fast decision-making.
