Job summary

ACI Jet, Inc. is seeking a Challenger 605 Captain to operate Part 91/135 flights on behalf of EJM, reporting to the ACM Lead Captain.

This role is based at the San Luis Obispo County Airport (KSBP) and requires residing within a 2-hour drive of KSBP, maintaining a positive, professional work relationship with clients and the ACI Jet team. The compensation reflects senior aviation experience with 3,500 total hours, ATP with English proficiency, and a CL-604 rating preferred.

Qualifications

• 3,500 hours total time.
• 2,000 hours PIC.
• 1,500 hours multi-engine.
• 300 hours instrument.
• CL-604 Type Rating highly desired.
• Pilot’s Certificate (ATP) with an English proficient endorsement.
• Must meet the requirements of ICAO Annex I, Section 2.1.10.
• First Class Medical, United States Passport.
• Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of professional aviation experience.
• Must be willing to live within 2 hours of San Luis Obispo County Airport (KSBP).
• Highly motivated and organized.

Responsibilities

• Operates ACI Jet aircraft in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with all rules and manuals.
• Coordinate with Flight Dispatch to meet flight objectives per policies and procedures.
• Provide unparalleled courtesy, professionalism and customer service to ACI Jet Charter clients and owners.
• Keep Electronic Flight Bags current with latest navigation data.
• Stay knowledgeable of the ACI Jet Air Carrier Operations Manual (ACOM).
• Perform thorough preflight inspections prior to takeoff including aircraft, documentation, fuel, weather, and regulatory requirements.

A Challenger 605 Captain is responsible for performing duties as a Part 91/135 aircraft pilot in a safe and efficient manner. This position will include operating the aircraft on behalf of Executive Jet Management (EJM) Part 135 Certificate while maintaining a positive and productive relationship with ACI Jet’s employees, vendors, and clients.

The Challenger 605 Captain will report directly to the account Lead Captain (Aircraft and Crew Manager - ACM). This position is based at the San Luis Obispo County Airport (KSBP) and residing within a 2-hour drive-time of KSBP is required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Operates ACI Jet aircraft in a safe and efficient manner while in compliance with all company rules and regulations, manufacturers’ limitations and manuals, governmental rules and regulations, and any other requirements of agencies having jurisdiction over the flight.
• Coordinate with ACI Jet Flight Dispatch personnel to ensure that the goals and objectives relating to assigned flight operations are achieved and carried out in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Provide unparalleled courtesy, professionalism and customer service to ACI Jet Charter clients and owners.
• Ensures that Electronic Flight Bag(s) (EFB) are kept current with the latest navigation and application dates.
• Remain knowledgeable relative to the applicable portions of the ACI Jet Air Carrier Operations Manual (ACOM).
• Ensure that a proper preflight inspection has been accomplished prior to takeoff including but not limited to the aircraft, its publications, documentation, equipment, passenger service items, fuel, weather conditions at destination, enroute, alternate airports and departure points, customs, permits, and airport/runway suitability.
