Job summary

ACI Jet, Inc. is seeking a Challenger 605 Captain to operate as a Part 91/135 pilot from the San Luis Obispo area. You will report to the ACM and coordinate with Dispatch while upholding safety and client service standards.

The role requires substantial flight hours, an ATP with English proficiency, and a willingness to live within 2 hours of KSBP. A strong professional aviation background and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Total flight time ≥3,500 hours.
• PIC ≥2,000 hours.
• Multi-engine ≥1,500 hours.
• Instrument time ≥300 hours.
• CL-604 type rating preferred.
• ATP certificate with English proficiency.
• Meets ICAO Annex I, Sec 2.1.10.
• First Class Medical.
• US Passport.
• Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years aviation experience.
• Willing to live within 2 hours of KSBP.

Responsibilities

• Operate Challenger 605 aircraft safely and in compliance with all regulations.
• Coordinate with Flight Dispatch to meet flight goals per policy.
• Provide exceptional courtesy and customer service to charter clients.
• Keep Electronic Flight Bags current with navigation data.
• Maintain familiarity with ACI Jet Operations Manual (ACOM).
• Perform thorough preflight inspections covering aircraft, documentation, equipment, fuel, weather, destinations and departure points.

A Challenger 605 Captain is responsible for performing duties as a Part 91/135 aircraft pilot in a safe and efficient manner. This position will include operating the aircraft on behalf of Executive Jet Management (EJM) Part 135 Certificate while maintaining a positive and productive relationship with ACI Jet’s employees, vendors, and clients. The Challenger 605 Captain will report directly to the account Lead Captain (Aircraft and Crew Manager - ACM). This position is based at the San Luis Obispo County Airport (KSBP) and residing within a 2-hour drive-time of KSBP is required.

What You'll Do

• Operates ACI Jet aircraft in a safe and efficient manner while in compliance with all company rules and regulations, manufacturers’ limitations and manuals, governmental rules and regulations, and any other requirements of agencies having jurisdiction over the flight.
• Coordinate with ACI Jet Flight Dispatch personnel to ensure that the goals and objectives relating to assigned flight operations are achieved and carried out in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Provide unparalleled courtesy, professionalism and customer service to ACI Jet Charter clients and owners.
• Ensures that Electronic Flight Bag(s) (EFB) are kept current with the latest navigation and application dates.
• Remain knowledgeable relative to the applicable portions of the ACI Jet Air Carrier Operations Manual (ACOM).
• Ensure that a proper preflight inspection has been accomplished prior to takeoff including but not limited to the aircraft, its publications, documentation, equipment, passenger service items, fuel, weather conditions at destination, enroute, alternate airports and departure points, customs, permits, and airport/runway suitability.

• Pilot’s Certificate (ATP) with an English proficient endorsement

• First Class Medical
• Valid United States Passport
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or have 3-5 years of professional aviation experience.
• Must be willing to live within 2 hours of San Luis Obispo County Airport (KSBP)
• Must be highly motivated and organized
