The team averages approximately 300 to 350 flight hours annually, with a schedule that can range from weeks with little to no flying to higher tempo weeks of 20 to 30 hours, and a predictable planning cadence where most flights are scheduled about a week in advance and short notice callouts are rare.

The Role

• The Second-in-Command reports functionally to the Pilot-in-Command during the assigned flight and administratively to the Chief Pilot on other matters.
• Assists the PIC in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight.
• Maintains a working knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of the Pilot-in-Command.
• Assumes PIC duties, including control of the flight, in the event of PIC incapacitation.
• Participates in the Safety Management System.

Requirements

• Holds at least a Commercial Pilot Certificate with an Instrument and Multi-Engine Rating.
• Possess a First Class FAA Medical Certificate.
• Possess a valid U.S. Passport.
• Previous Jet Experience.

Preferred

• Possesses a Bachelor’s degree (highly desirable).
• Holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Multi-Engine Rating and is type rated in the appropriate aircraft.
• CL30 Type Rating strongly preferred.
• 3500 Hours Total Flight Time.
