Qualifications

• MD/DO with current SD licensure or ability to obtain one and appropriate certification for field of specialty.
• Leadership experience in a medical school or similar environment.
• Experience in student services in an academic environment is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain high-quality Pillar 3 curricula to expand clinical learning opportunities and to provide training in important and emerging areas.
• Mentor faculty in Pillar 3 courses and in development of electives.
• Collaborate with deans and registration officers on Pillar 3 curricular programs.
• Support online Pillar 3 scheduling and enforce policies for away electives.
• Coordinate Transition to Residency (TTR) course and participate in accreditation activities.
• Provide regular reports to Medical Education Committee and Clerkship Directors Committee.
