CORE FACULTY (Multiple positions available)
Looking for a change in your family medicine practice? Join a faculty with wide-ranging and diverse interests that have come together to teach more than 350 graduates, two-thirds of whom enter rural practice! We are a well-established 9-9-9 program, founded just four years after our specialty was born. Combined, our faculty provide full-scope family medicine, including clinic, hospital care, obstetrics, and procedures. In addition, faculty teach and mentor residents, design curriculum, and have the autonomy to pursue areas of passion within family medicine. There may be opportunities for part-time or creative scheduling to accommodate a candidate's interests. We offer an attractive compensation and benefits package. The residency is sponsored by the Center for Family Medicine, a not-for-profit educational corporation that is financially supported by both Avera Health and Sanford Health. Qualified candidates must be a board-certified or board-eligible family physician able to be licensed in the State of South Dakota.
