Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a dedicated Pilates Instructor to support members in developing and maintaining healthier lifestyles. You will design comprehensive programs, lead private and group sessions, and promote Pilates offerings while ensuring safety and studio standards.

This role requires a Certified Pilates Trainer with CPR/AED, and a background in fitness assessments and equipment usage. A High School diploma is required, with preference for related college education.

Qualifications

• Pilates program design experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• 6 months experience adjusting body alignment and Pilates equipment (Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrel).
• Certified Pilates Trainer.
• CPR and AED certified.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional client programs to achieve goals and retention.
• Instructs private and group Pilates classes.
• Monitors clients during sessions for safe equipment use.
• Conducts fitness consultations and goal setting.
• Promotes Pilates training programs and classes to members.
• Completes administrative requirements for each client's fitness plan.
• Maintains cleanliness of the Pilates studio.
• Keeps certifications up to date and aware of industry trends.

Position Summary

Pilates Instructors are responsible for supporting all members in championing happier, and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supporting, and upholds the integrity of the Life Time Brand.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention
• Instructs both private and group Pilates classes
• Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use the equipment
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs
• Promotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client's fitness plan
• Maintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studio
• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
• Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Experience in Pilates program design
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Years of Experience:

• 1 year of personal training experience
• 6 months of experience in adjusting body alignment, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:

• Certified Pilates Trainer
• CPR and AED Certified

Preferred Qualifications:

• College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field
