Job summary

Life Time Inc. is hiring a Pilates Instructor to support members by creating safe, effective, and personalized Pilates programs.

You will lead private sessions and group classes, assist with goal setting, and monitor form to ensure safe execution of Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment. Ideal candidates have Pilates program design experience and at least 1 year of personal training experience, with CPR/AED certification and a High School diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Experience in Pilates program design.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds.
• High School Diploma or GED (education requirement).

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention
• Instructs both private and group Pilates classes
• Monitors clients during Pilates sessions to ensure safe and effective use of the equipment
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs
• Promotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client's fitness plan
• Maintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studio
• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
• Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends

• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs
• Promotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members

• Maintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studio

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Experience in Pilates program design

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Years of Experience:

• 1 year of personal training experience
• 6 months of experience in adjusting body alignment, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:

• Certified Pilates Trainer
• CPR and AED Certified

Preferred Qualifications:

• College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field
