Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Pilates Instructor to design and deliver safe Pilates programs for members and guests. You will lead private and group sessions, assess client goals, and promote Pilates offerings while maintaining studio standards.

Candidate should have Pilates program design experience, CPR/AED, and a certified Pilates trainer credential, with a focus on safety, client engagement, and ongoing certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have Pilates program design experience.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds.
• CPR and AED certification.
• Certified Pilates Trainer.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• College degree in Kinesiology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention.
• Instructs both private and group Pilates classes.
• Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use of equipment.
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting.
• Promotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members.
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client's fitness plan.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studio.
• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry.
• Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Years of Experience:

• 1 year of personal training experience
• 6 months of experience in adjusting body alignment, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:

• Certified Pilates Trainer
• CPR and AED Certified

Preferred Qualifications:

• College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field
