Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Pilates Instructor to support members by creating safe, effective exercise plans and delivering private and group classes. You will monitor equipment use, conduct initial client assessments, and promote related fitness programs within a supportive studio environment.

The role requires staying current with certifications and trends, maintaining studio cleanliness, and delivering quality member experiences aligned with Life Time values.

Qualifications

• Pilates program design experience.
• One year of personal training experience.
• Six months of experience adjusting body alignment and Pilates equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
• Instructs private and group Pilates classes.
• Monitors clients during sessions to ensure safe use of equipment.
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including goal setting.
• Promotes Pilates training programs, Group Fitness classes, and Personal Training.
• Completes administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan.
• Maintains cleanliness of the Pilates studio.
• Stays current on certifications and industry trends.
• Educates members on health and fitness topics.

Position Summary

Pilates Instructors are responsible for supporting all members in championing happier, and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supporting, and upholds the integrity of the Life Time Brand.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention
• Instructs both private and group Pilates classes
• Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use the equipment
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs
• Promotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client's fitness plan
• Maintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studio
• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
• Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Experience in Pilates program design
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Years of Experience:

• 1 year of personal training experience
• 6 months of experience in adjusting body alignment, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:

• Certified Pilates Trainer
• CPR and AED Certified

Preferred Qualifications:

• College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field
