Job summary

Grosse Pointe Public School System in Michigan is seeking four individuals to lead grade-level PLC conversations and support district initiatives. The role includes August meetings, after-school/PLC sessions, and keeping notes and agendas for timely communication.

The positions involve PBIS committee work, MTSS collaboration, and organizing grade-level field trips and year-end celebrations. Candidates will work to support student and staff needs across grades 5–8.

Qualifications

• Interest in leading grade level PLC conversations.
• Willingness to support MTSS and PBIS initiatives.
• Ability to organize grade level field trips.
• Participation as EPED stipend Class III.

Responsibilities

• Lead grade level PLC conversations and organize notes.
• Attend August meetings and periodic after-school/PLC meetings.
• Support Grade Level Townhall meetings and messaging.
• Facilitate Grade Level Meetings; prepare agendas and notes.
• Data Dig—review MiStar DNA / Failure Reports; keep notes.
• Attend MTSS Meetings; represent grade level.
• Organize grade level field trips (museum visits, Cedar Point, etc.).
• Coordinate year-end Celebrations Trips for each grade.

• Other to support grade level specific needs of students and staff
• Organize grade level field trips. Example trips
• 5th--African American Museum
• 7th--Arab American Museum
• 8th--Holocaust Museum
• Organize Year-end Celebrations Trips
• 8th Grade--Cedar Point
• 7th Grade--Ball Park
• 6th Grade--Total Sports
• 5th Grade--Water Park
