Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in Florida or compact license
• CPR/BLS certification maintained
• PALS certification within two years of hire

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and document the plan of care in collaboration with disciplines
• Administer and monitor medications per policy and five rights of medication administration
• Perform head-to-toe assessments, vital signs, wound care and procedures
• Participate in daily rounds with multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure accurate EHR documentation and timely communication of lab results
• Promote family-centered care and effective handoffs during shifts
• Maintain patient safety by adhering to sedation, PPE and infection control policies
