Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is seeking an RN for the Float Pool in the ICU, with full-time status and night shifts. The role involves planning and delivering nursing care, documenting in the EHR, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of patient safety and family-centered care.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida RN license (or eNLC), BLS/PALS/ACLS as required, and BSN or enrollment in a BSN program, with strong communication and teamwork skills to support

Formación

• Licensed RN in Florida or eNLC in good standing.
• BLS certification current and in good standing.
• ACLS required within 1 year of hire; PALS within 2 years.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 1 year of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, implement, and document nursing care using the nursing process.
• Handoff with oncoming RN using SBAR; document in Cerner.
• Administer medications with accuracy and six rights checks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team in daily rounds to ensure patient safety.
