Qualifications

• 2+ years of RN experience if hired with an associate/diploma degree.
• If hired without BSN/MSN, must enroll in BSN/MSN within 1 year and complete within 5 years.
• Preferred BSN or MSN from ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA accredited institution.
• Active Ohio RN License; may require other state licensure.
• Foreign graduates must validate license through TruMerit per Ohio Board rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regulatory compliance and safety standards for the department and hospital.
• Monitor and support safety and policy adherence; ensure certifications are current.
• Document care plans, care delivered, and patient/family outcomes; follow policies.
• Collaborate with department managers and magnet representatives to share safety best practices.
• Support care coordination and provide age-specific, culturally inclusive patient care.
• Contribute to continuous learning by coaching, mentoring, and participation in governance.

Education

Associate/Diploma RN (ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA)

BSN or MSN preferred

Ohio RN License active
