Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The role involves delivering and coordinating highly skilled pediatric nursing care during 7p–7a shifts, with 36 hours per week and weekend/holiday requirements.

Applicants must hold an RN license, BLS certification, and complete PALS within six months. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates and prior pediatric/critical care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• PALS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• One year of pediatric or critical care in-patient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Work with evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and families.
