Job summary

Wolfson Children’s Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time night shift role requires 1-2 years of cardiac and telemetry experience and RN licensure with BLS; ACLS and CCRN are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to pediatric patients using the nursing process
• Supervise care by supportive personnel
• Coordinate care by ancillary services
• Include patients and families in developing a plan of care
• Educate patients and families about disease and care plans
• Serve as patient advocate and provide care for high acuity patients
• Uphold the hospital mission statement
• Participate in staff meetings and unit activities
