Job summary

Advocate Health’s Levine Children’s Hospital CVICU is seeking a skilled pediatric ICU RN. You will deliver comprehensive care to neonates through 18-year-olds, coordinating with a high-acuity team in a 20-bed unit that recently expanded.

The role requires an accredited nursing program completion and an active RN license in the state. Night shifts are 7p–7a with a 36-hour week and weekend/holiday rotation; a sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants who have not received prior bonuses.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• PALS certification is required within 6 months of hire.
• One year of pediatric in-patient RN experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
