StaffDNA® is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to deliver specialized respiratory support to critically ill children. You will work closely with the PICU team to tailor treatment plans, operate ventilators and therapies, and monitor patient responses.

You will educate families, document progress, and participate in high‑pressure decision making in a hospital setting, with opportunities for career growth in pediatric respiratory care.

• Maintain detailed treatment records and patient progress.

Responsabilidades

• Assess pediatric patients’ respiratory conditions and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the PICU team.
• Administer respiratory therapies such as mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, or aerosol medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor ventilator settings and adjust them as needed based on patients’ responses and clinical conditions.
• Educate families on respiratory care techniques and equipment use to support recovery after discharge from the PICU.
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and patient progress throughout their PICU stay.
