Job summary

StaffDNA® is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our ICU team. You will deliver essential respiratory care to critically ill patients, including ventilation management and comprehensive therapies, to support life-saving outcomes.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other specialists in a fast-paced, rotating shift environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required in critical care settings. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor ICU patients with respiratory conditions.
• Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation and other life‑support systems.
• Administer aerosol medications and oxygen therapy as prescribed.
• Perform arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians on care plans.
• Respond to emergencies (code blue) with airway management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document progress per hospital policies.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment usage.
