Job summary

StaffDNA is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our ICU team in a high‑acuity setting. The role focuses on delivering advanced respiratory care for patients with critical breathing disorders, coordinating with the multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans.

The ideal candidate will have ICU experience, strong ventilator management skills, and a commitment to education for patients and families transitioning out of the ICU.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU respiratory care experience.
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist in good standing.
• Current BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor ICU patients with respiratory conditions.
• Manage mechanical ventilation and airway support.
• Administer medications and oxygen therapy as prescribed.
• Perform ABG analysis and lung function tests as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff on care plans.
