Job summary

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group seeks a dedicated Pediatric Intensivist to join our growing critical care team on a per diem basis with the potential to grow into a full-time position.

The role operates within a high-acuity PICU/CTICU, offering teaching opportunities and involvement in program development. Board-eligible/certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care is required, with a strong commitment to exceptional patient care and education.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care.
• Commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the PICU and/or CTICU.
• Provide Procedure Related Sedation to patients on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, neonatology, and subspecialty services.
• Participate in admissions, procedures, and daily ICU management.
• Supervise and teach residents and fellows in a supportive academic environment.
• Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and protocol development.
• Support a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and psychological safety.
