Job summary

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Intensivist to join our growing critical care team in sunny Southern California on a per diem basis with potential to grow into a full-time position.

The Pediatric Intensivist will provide direct patient care in the PICU/CTICU, collaborate with cardiology and subspecialists, and contribute to teaching and quality improvement in a mission-driven academic environment.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care.
• Commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the PICU/CTICU.
• Provide procedure-related sedation to inpatients and outpatients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, neonatology, and subspecialty services.
• Participate in admissions, procedures, and daily ICU management.
• Supervise and teach residents and fellows in an academic environment.
• Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and protocol development.
