Picture Framing Design Specialist - Full Time

Store - LA-BUENA PARK, CA

Lead and coach a team of framers who focus on building customer relationships while creating a framing solution for their art. Drive custom framing sales. Assist customers in creating a memorable framing solution for their art.

Major Activities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; ensure execution of Company policies and standards; hold team accountable for store conditions and results
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors
• Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload in partnership with the Store Manager
• Achieve KPIs and manage the framing team to meet their role KPIs
• Review sales and production workload, and build plans and sales floor time for networking
• Manage inventory processes as assigned
• Manage shrink and safety programs
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD)
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, training of new team members; support Talent Development activities; participate in Performance Management; utilize leadership competencies for self-development
• Partner with MODs on framing expectations and team coordination
• Interact respectfully with others; promote a positive image and serve as a role model
• Participate in truck unload and stocking to ensure standards and budget adherence
• Follow SOPs and company safety protocols
• Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions
• Assist with Omni-channel processes

Minimum Experience Required

• Basic computer skills

Preferred Experience

• Previous custom framing experience
• Retail management experience
• Experience leading a sales team

Physical Requirements

• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
• Ability to move throughout the store
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Lifting heavy boxes and frames, accessing high shelves with ladders

Work Environment

• Public retail store setting with climate-controlled areas; some outdoor work and non-climate-controlled stock rooms; work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings

Applicants must meet legal requirements. Total base pay range: $17.50 - $23.00.
