Our Design Specialists receive a competitive base salary and a no-cap commission on shipped items. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, paid vacation, holidays, parental leave, commuter benefits up to $150/month, 401k with 4% match, employee discounts, and more.

About this Opportunity: If you have a passion for interior design and enjoy building relationships within the local design community, our Studio is the place for you. As a Design Specialist, you will be a product and sales expert, sharing the story behind our iconic products by esteemed designers and leading manufacturers. You will work strategically to expand client connections and facilitate outreach in your local design community. You will report to the General Manager.

What you’ll do:

• Grow your business through outreach and networking within the local design community.
• Utilize company programs and tools to manage the full client lifecycle to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Assist in maintaining the Studio's design and visual standards using merchandising guidelines.
• Facilitate the client experience, educating customers on product stories and details.
• Attend meetings, product trainings, and utilize company resources to increase product knowledge and industry awareness.
• Travel for in-home client consultations and visits to local trade professionals.

Does this sound like you?

This might be you if you have:

• Background in retail sales or customer success (preferred).
• Background in interior design (preferred).
• Ability to identify client needs, problem-solve, and communicate effectively about product features and benefits.
• Experience with POS systems, proficiency with MS Office, web navigation, and 3D rendering programs (preferred).
• Ability to routinely move objects weighing over 20 pounds and understand safety requirements.

The starting salary range for this role is $19.90 - $24.90, with considerations for qualifications, experience, and market factors. Additional compensation may include geographic premiums, discretionary incentives, and equity awards. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, HSA, dependent care accounts, life insurance, disability, paid time off, holidays, 401(k), and more.
