Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders and deliver a smooth pickup experience for customers. The role emphasizes fast, accurate service with a strong focus on courtesy and problem-solving throughout shifts.

You will work with the curbside pickup area, greet customers, and ensure orders are prepared and bagged correctly while maintaining a clean pickup space.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing).

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
