Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders with speed and accuracy, delivering a smooth pickup experience for customers.

You will help drive loyalty by providing friendly service, accurate order fulfillment, and timely communication with customers and store leadership. Training will be provided; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus, with an emphasis on attention to detail and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with a courteous, friendly attitude and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items using proper standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

As a Digital Clerk, you’ll help drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by shopping their orders quickly and accurately, creating an easy pickup experience from start to finish.

You’ll:

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup Meijer Pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection the carside experience
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
