Job summary

Life Time, Inc. in Columbia, MD is seeking a Lead-Pickleball to manage and grow our club pickleball programming. You will oversee open play, clinics, mixers, leagues, tournaments and events, promote offerings to members, and handle scheduling and billing.

You will partner with Corporate Racquet Sports leaders on strategic changes and on marketing initiatives. The role requires deep knowledge of pickleball, teaching experience, CPR/AED certification, strong customer service, event planning skills

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of the game of pickleball.
• Experience teaching pickleball.
• Certification in pickleball teaching required within six months of hire.
• Excellent customer service, friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude.
• Experience planning and executing events.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• CPR and AED certified.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops, sells and teaches safe, professional and exciting revenue generating on-court programs.
• Interacts with members through non-revenue producing activity and off-court program promotion (i.e. Open Play and Intro to Pickleball, information tables, coordinates marketing materials, member communication, etc.)
• Provides administrative oversight of the clubs pickleball programming, including managing scheduling of programs, completes billing, etc.
• May provide supervision to club pickleball staff, including working with the General Manager to scout and interview new pickleball staff team members, ensuring the completion of their training and onboarding.
