Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Cary, NC is seeking a pickleball instructor to teach private and group lessons, run clinics, and coordinate leagues and events. You will grow your client book, deliver student-centered, rally-based coaching, and contribute to revenue goals.

You will lead on-court sessions (~30+ hours weekly), develop progression paths, and collaborate with staff to promote pickleball across the club while delivering outstanding member service.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service, friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude.
• Thorough knowledge of pickleball with effective teaching styles and techniques.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with all ages and building positive member/team relationships.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Teach private and group pickleball lessons on court, averaging 30+ hours per week.
• Develop safe, professional lessons and progression pathways for students.
• Create exceptional member experiences through programs, tournaments, and events, using available marketing tools; ensure facilities/equipment are clean and ready.
• Collaborate with Membership Advisors to integrate pickleball into sales efforts and attend related meetings.
