Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Bloomingdale, IL is seeking an energetic pickleball coach to teach private lessons and lead group programming.

You will coordinate leagues and mixers, embrace student-centered teaching, and grow your book and revenue to meet personal and department goals. Responsibilities include on-court instruction for 30+ hours weekly, program development, and creating memorable member experiences through events, tournaments and marketing-supported activities.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills, friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude.
• Thorough knowledge of the game of pickleball and effective teaching styles and techniques.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills.
• Comfortable working with all age groups and building positive relationships with members and team members.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, demonstrates, and instructs students during pickleball lessons on proper techniques, tactics, and strategies to improve their game; teaches on court 30+ hours per week.
• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive pickleball lessons and programs for progression.
• Creates exceptional member experiences through programs, tournaments, and events; maintains facilities and equipment.
• Participates in the system wide sales effort with Membership Advisors and Member Activities; attends relevant pickleball meetings.
