Job summary

Savani Construction Co.Pvt.Ltd. is seeking a motivated Picker/Packer Team Member for our warehouse. You will select, pack, and prepare products for shipment, ensuring orders meet quality standards and are ready for delivery.

You will use order picker equipment, RF scanners, and barcode systems, operate reach trucks and forklifts, and maintain inventory accuracy through regular counts and WMS updates. This role offers a remote work location with a flexible schedule and benefits including dental

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, or RF scanners is highly desirable
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying inventory quantities accurately
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely during order picking and packing processes
• Ability to lift heavy loads regularly and perform manual handling tasks safely
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management systems is a plus
• Commitment to safety protocol adherence and proper use of PPE at all times
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards supporting warehouse distribution activities such as stocking, quality control, load & unload operations, and order fulfillment

Responsibilities

• Efficiently pick items using order picker equipment, RF scanners, barcode scanning systems, and manual handling techniques to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly
• Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment following safety protocols
• Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials while adhering to quality control standards and shipping requirements
• Load and unload shipments safely using proper lifting techniques and heavy equipment operation skills
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts, inventory management system updates, and barcode scanning for logistics tracking
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound/outbound shipments against documentation and recording transactions in warehouse management systems
• Follow safety procedures consistently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to safety protocols, and participating in safety training sessions
