Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a picker/packer in Ponchatoula, LA to collect merchandise, prepare shipments, and support inventory control. You will use scanners to locate items and load them for distribution, with attention to accuracy and safety.

The role involves standing, bending, lifting up to 35 lbs, and working with a team in a fast-paced retail/distribution environment. This is an on-site, full-time position with standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Basic comfort with scanning/handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Find and collect merchandise in a retail setting and prepare items for shipment.
• Use computer or scanner to check inventory and locate items.
• Load items onto dollies or conveyors to move them through the distribution area.
• Assemble packages for shipping and ensure items are properly labeled.
• Inspect merchandise, stock, categorize, count and tag inventory.
• Requires bending, lifting, standing, and walking.

Dress code

White, navy, or gray shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Closed toe and non slip footwear only.
