Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Picker Packer for our Belton, Missouri location. The position offers $17.00 per hour with a Monday through Friday shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Responsibilities include selecting items with a scanner, packing boxes for shipment, and performing kitting duties as products move along the conveyor line.

Education Requirements

Experience Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not required
• Experience using scanners or RF devices is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

• Attend daily start-up meetings with your team
• Pick customer orders using a scanner and place items into totes
• Pack products into boxes for shipment
• Perform kitting duties by placing items into boxes as they move down a conveyor line
• Assist in the Panda area by placing boxes on a conveyor for labeling and returning them to designated locations
• Operate a walkie rider to transport pallets throughout the warehouse
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure order accuracyFollow all warehouse safety procedures and work instructions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience is preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is beneficial.
• Knowledge of inventory control, shipping procedures, or order fulfillment best practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, productivity, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Picker Packer.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely handle products while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in warehouse and fulfillment environments while following established safety procedures.
