Global Market Foods is seeking a detail-oriented Operator to join our on-site warehouse team in Houston. You will process orders, pick and pack items, and prepare shipments with care while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and collaboration with teammates to support fast, reliable fulfillment. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, strong time management and communication skills, and familiarity with WMS systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize orders efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking.
• Good communication and teamwork with warehouse staff and suppliers.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and operate basic equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review customer orders and determine items and quantities to pick.
• Use handheld devices to locate and confirm product locations.
• Safely retrieve items and stack on pallets for shipment.
• Verify accuracy against order specifications and inspect quality.
• Follow safety guidelines and operate equipment responsibly.

Your responsibilities include retrieving items from designated locations within the warehouse and preparing them for shipment.
