Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a Pick & Prep associate to engage guests through product preparation and sampling, and to provide outstanding service in our Pick & Prep area. You will demonstrate knife skills, assist with product preparation, and ensure quality and sanitation standards are met while helping guests understand the benefits of Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal, and Local offerings.

Role requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally, along with teamwork, strong

To prepare Pick & Prep product and provide product preparation services to create a sensory and engaging experience for guests, while operating at or above company standards.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage guests through product preparation, active sampling and suggestive selling.
• To personally demonstrate superior guest service at all times. This will included but is not limited to storytelling about specific products within the department, highlighting product benefits such as Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal and most importantly Local, etc..
• Demonstrate knife showmanship skills to highlight the services and show offered at Pick & Prep
• Operate the Pick & Prep area according to strict merchandising and operational standards.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Lowes Foods standards.
