Job summary

Lowes Foods in Greensboro, NC is seeking friendly, energetic team members for our Pick & Prep station. You will engage guests, perform product preparation, and demonstrate knife skills while delivering storytelling about Fresh, Local, and Seasonal items.

Join a team focused on guest service, sanitation, and accuracy in receiving, stocking, and managing the Pick & Prep area. Must be 18+ and able to lift up to 50 lbs; training provided.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations.
• Demonstrate knife skills.

• Able to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work with computers and scales.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage guests through product preparation, active sampling and suggestive selling.

• Demonstrate knife showmanship to highlight services offered at Pick & Prep.
• Operate the Pick & Prep area according to merchandising and operational standards.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, merchandising and guest service as necessary.
• Perform PA announcements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage guests through product preparation, active sampling and suggestive selling.
• To personally demonstrate superior guest service at all times. This will included but is not limited to storytelling about specific products within the department, highlighting product benefits such as Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal and most importantly Local, etc..
• Demonstrate knife showmanship skills to highlight the services and show offered at Pick & Prep
• Operate the Pick & Prep area according to strict merchandising and operational standards.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Lowes Foods standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, merchandising and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Perform PA announcements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
