Job summary

VTP is seeking RNs with USGIV experience for full-time vascular access roles, offering paid training into PICC insertion. Evening/night schedules are available with options such as 12PM-12AM or 2PM-2AM. Travel to patient sites is required, with full-time and per diem opportunities for experienced PICC RNs.

You will work with our clinical team to resolve venous access issues and observe different treatment protocols across settings, from hospital to home care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current license.
• American Heart BLS Certification.
• Experience in vascular access device (VAD) management, including care and troubleshooting.
• Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs).
• Ability to travel to patient sites and fulfill scheduling.
• Must possess a smart phone and reliable transportation.
• Must LOVE vascular access!

Responsibilities

• Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance.
• Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation.
• Assist with management of PICCs and vascular access devices.
• Provide vascular access services including port access, line removal, and declotting.
• Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs and CVADs.
