Qualifications

• Two years of clinical experience, including IV therapy.
• Current Utah RN license or eligible to obtain via Interstate Compact.
• Current RQI eCredential within 30 days of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inserts PICC line and mid-line IV catheters and documents placement.
• Monitors PICC and mid-lines; de-clotting; drug charges; catheter removal or maintenance.
• Provides IV therapy instruction to nursing staff, students, physicians, patients and families.
• Participates in research and quality improvement studies related to IV therapy.
• Maintains current knowledge on advances in IV therapy.
• Meets with sales representatives to evaluate new products or discuss product capabilities or deficiencies.
• May work rotating schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays to meet staffing needs.
