Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse with infusion experience to provide comprehensive nursing care and IV therapy across vascular access modalities. You will perform PICC/midline insertions, manage central lines, and educate staff and patients while mentoring new nurses.

Requirements include a BSN and PA RN licensure; CRNI is preferred. The role emphasizes teamwork with clinicians, IT systems use, and ongoing professional development within an academic medical center.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania.
• Basic computer skills and data entry in clinical systems.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• CRNI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates skill in peripheral IV insertion and maintenance.
• Performs PICC and Midline catheter insertion with ultrasound guidance.
• Assesses and maintains central venous catheters.
• Educates staff and patients about intravenous therapy.
• Precepts staff and new nurses in vascular access.
