Job summary

TridentCare is seeking a PICC Line Nurse to assess patients and oversee PICC or midline insertion, ensuring correct placement and aseptic technique. The role includes patient and family communication, documentation, and participation in clinical rounds as needed.

The position requires RN licensure, PICC certification, and BLS, with a minimum of two years' PICC/IR/OR insertion experience. A flexible schedule and full-time benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license and PICC certification.
• Knowledge of central venous catheters and patient assessment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and evaluate suitability for PICC/midline insertion.
• Perform PICC placement maintaining aseptic technique.
• Educate patients and families on PICC care and maintenance.
• Document procedure details and placement confirmation in accordance with policy.
• Ensure informed consent and correct patient identification prior to procedure.
