Job summary

TridentCare is seeking a PICC Line Nurse in Indianapolis, IN to assess patients, perform PICC placement, and ensure proper post-insertion care. The role requires RN licensure, PICC certification, and BLS, with prior OR/IR/PICC insertion experience.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree in Nursing.
• Current RN license.
• PICC Certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Good knowledge base for caring for central venous catheters.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the patient and ensure PICC placement is correctly inserted.
• Maintain aseptic technique and patient comfort during PICC procedure.
• Complete required paperwork and educate patient about PICC care post insertion.
• Provide facility staff with PICC-related information and support.
• Document PICC insertion and radiologist confirmation per policy.
• Assist Territory Managers and Director of Vascular Access in related meetings and rounds.
