Quantinuum is seeking an onsite Photonic Integrated Circuit Design Intern in the Broomfield, CO area. You will join a team of physicists and optical engineers to support the development of quantum computing systems and design photonic components across the spectrum.

The role requires enrollment in a Physics or Engineering PhD program (graduating on/after Sept 2027) and U.S. Person status due to contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a Physics or Engineering PhD program intended to graduate on/after September 2027.
• U.S. Person required due to contractual obligations.
• Citizenship/residency restrictions apply per national security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a team of physicists and optical engineers supporting development of quantum computing systems.
• Design and develop integrated photonic components and systems to manipulate light.
