Role Description

The Piano Teacher is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Suwanee and Buford. The teacher will plan and deliver individual and small‑group piano lessons, focusing on technique, musical expression, and foundational skills appropriate to each student’s level and goals. Daily responsibilities include developing lesson plans, teaching music theory and ear training, assigning and reviewing practice materials, and preparing students for recitals, exams, and auditions. The Piano Teacher will provide constructive feedback, maintain clear communication with students and families, and contribute to a positive, supportive studio environment. Additional duties may include participating in faculty meetings, assisting with studio events, and keeping accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Qualifications

• Strong piano performance skills, including Piano Playing and Piano.
• Experience in Piano Education and Music Education, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to different ages and skill levels.
• Solid understanding of Music Theory and its practical application in piano instruction.
• Master degree or higher in Music, Piano Performance, Music Education, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Prior teaching experience in private lessons or group classes, with a track record of student progress.
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
